Bristly Balsam Pear

 


The ingredients are :-

kanToLee (1)

  • – 1) 250 grams kantoli,
  • – 2) 1large onion,
  • – 3) 1 tablespoon oil,
  • – 4) ½ teaspoon turmeric,
  • – 5) ½ teaspoon asafetida,
  • – 6) 1 to 2 teaspoons red chili powder,
  • – 7) Salt, to taste.

Directions

  • – 1) Thinly slice the Kantolis, as explained above.

  • – 2) Chop the onion,
  • – 3) Heat the oil and add the turmeric and asafetida,
  • – 4) Add the chopped onion and sauté till soft.
  • – 5) Then add the sliced Kantoli and sauté for two minutes.
  • – 6) Cover and let them cook. ( 5 minutes. )
  • – 7) Then add the salt and red chili powder, mix well.

Some prefer this vegetable dry,  hence if you like that way, you can sauté till the water dries up and the slices are crispy.
